Top Tier Prospect Goes 27th in MLB Draft

Sunday, July 9, 2023

The Philadelphia Phillies selected Top Tier shortstop Aidan Miller out of J.W. Mitchell High School in Florida with the 27th overall pick in the 2023 MLB draft.  From Trinity Florida, this 2023 Grad plays for the Top Tier 5 Star Roos Mafia and is rated as the 13th-best prospect by and is currently committed to the University of Arkansas.

Last summer, Miller won the High School Home Run Derby and the High School All-American Game MVP in Los Angeles. "Miller is a corner infielder with the kind of offensive profile pro teams want at that spot. The right-handed hitter has easily plus raw power and has shown he can get to it in games against good competition, showing no difficulty in turning around elite velocity. He already has a lot of strength," wrote.

So with the 2023 MLB Draft coming to a close, we wanted to take the time to recognize all the other Top Tier athletes for their accomplishments. We know their hard work and determination is going to carry them far into their professional careers and we wish them all the best of luck at the next level! Top Tier Aviators and the Eastend Baseball Academy wish these drafted Top Tier athletes the very best! #RollTier
