Everyone knows someone whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer. So throughout the month of October, all athletes and coaches in our organization will be wearing pink wristbands for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In the 1990's the breast cancer rate on Long Island was an astounding 1 in 9. Early detection does saves lives. We hope that our boys wearing pink is a reminder to the women in our lives to go get checked early and often. Wearing these wristbands is not a fashion statement, this cause hits home personally for us. #BiggerThanBaseball
